reading about blogging

Well i seem to understand the blogging part, but dont know how to set the links up yet, there must be a way that is easy . Just need to keep reading and find it. Havent decided about this blog yet, will i like it, will it tax my brain, will i be able to keep it interesting, have i something worth while to say.
