I have to say this has never happened to me (yet!) but is one of my phobias! I hope you were able to get things cleaned up okay!!
Come very very close to this - the sink was jammed with a sock and the ater from the machine almost overflowed from a full sink!! I heard that something wasnt right, and averted a very messy clean up!!
Here is the second one I have done, called Washing day - my daughter put to much soap in the washer and we had us a little flood.
