Lets get messy....and some tuts
Some new art , this was just a little sketch and color I did a few days ago, there are a few things wrong with it, like those eyes, I must take a course on making eyes, mine are always wonky. I have as always on fridays included some new tuts for your enjoyment, I love tuts, dont you. Okay back to regular programming, the tuts are below the girl....

I don't think you'll need a course, that might take away some of the characteristics in your pieces. I love the big eyes and the pointy chin on this one.
ReplyDeleteYour faces have a style all their own and I love it! This girl is great! I especially love her hair and her pointy chin.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tutes...it's always fun to see new things.
Drawing eyes is really hard, I've done endless practice over te years and still find it difficult to get them right, but we must keep practising and we'll get better and better, I know we will :)
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot, Lee! Big eyed art has been around a long time. I posted a witch aceo painting of mine the other day and she also has "big eyes" :)
ReplyDeleteEyes are never identical in reality. I know what you mean though. Drawing those eyes and getting them pretty near identical is difficult for me too. Love the blues and hardly notice - adds to the character. x
ReplyDeleteHi Lee...the wonkier the better, I say. She looks great!!! My faces always are...especially those I draw with my left hand. I'm going to check out the tutes...and thanks! I hope you are having a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteMary
Oh I just love her eyes and her hair, she looks wonderful in this pose.
