Mini Zine Peek

this is the front page and page 1 of the mini zine
I made for a trade.  Its about my vacations every
summer with my parents.  We didn't have very
much money back then, my dad was in the
Air Force, my mom was a part  time waitress and
they had 2 little girls, 2 years apart.
But every year they scrapped up enough
money to go on a camping vacation.  We
started going first in a tent, then they
bought this tiny little trailer, and they
called it the delee, my sister was delta
and lee for me.  We always went to
the same place Rosen Lake in British Columbia,
a beautiful camping spot, we always got one
right by the water.  We went there for many
years, usually with another couple with kids.
We always left really early in the morning, my
mom always packed a lunch.  We always had
some sort of car problem, us or the other
people we went with.  But we always had
a great time, and had great memories.

  1. Cute, cute, cute! And I enjoyed your vacation story too. Those little trailers are so popular these days. Do you have pictures of your vacations?

  3. My camping story was so similar, we went up to Kelowna's Green Bay in B.C. every year! This brought back great memories! Very inspirational! The zine looks adorable!

  4. Lee, I had to smile while reading this, so similar to my childhood vacations. Only difference, we were 4 kids. Love your zine, or what you show here.
