Moo

Did you know that this is my 10th year of blogging.  I cant belive it either.  For a girl who really has nothing to say, I managed to say quite a bit in 10 years.  The focus of my blog is suppose to be art and me.  I think I have kept pretty true to my first ideas of what I was going to say .  And I have managed to improve my art over these last 10 years as well.  I think that's all due to having a blog, getting involved in exchanges, challenges and thinking I must show you art everytime I blog.

Lately I have been reading up on how to improve my blog and bring more traffic in.  I don't do any of things that I should do, to bring in the traffic.  The one thing I did do is
change my blog header, but I still kept my original name of the blog in it.  Other than that they say all your pictures should be the same size, and I am still trying to figure out how to do that.  They say that it should not be cluttered and easy to read.  I am thinking mine is pretty simple to read, might not be to eye catching and colorful but good enough.  The only place I might be lacking is content, unfortunately not much
happens in my life.  I could start telling you about my processes, how they work or don't work, or my search to get my art noticed (on going).  That might be an idea.  What do you want to see more of in this blog, if you read this blog, you come here for a reason, right, I go to blogs, because I love there art, I love there spin on things, or they have something that I want to learn how to do.

What do you think?

  1. Lee, I love your blog as it is because it’s colorful and unique and because I love your fancy art and I love the content of your blog too. I love chatting about the meals especially on the holidays and I love it to see how you chase your dream. I visit your blog because of your art and because I love your writing about your search to get your art noticed and I’m always looking forward to a new post!
P.S. And I like your questions at the end of your posts too! Please keep all this alive for me!!!!

  2. Lee, I love your art AND you writing. There's nothing to change unless you want to increase the numbers of readers. The day to day talk is very good with me and I always feel like we had a little chat over a cup of coffee. Please don't change that. Congrats on 10 years of blogging, that is really something. I hope you enjoy it too.

  3. Happy tenth blogversary!! I love your blog... it a quick read with amazing visuals. I miss your old headers with the funky art... Social media is changing so much. I don't do this but people who blog properly announce every post on facebook, twitter and really play the social media game...I think being yourself, which you are is the best thing to keep your blog authentic!! Keep going girl... I may not read it everyday but I do my catching up!!
