Inspirations Thursday - Faces

This week the focus is on Faces. Paint a face. Sketch a face. Sculpt a face. Collage a face. Make it pretty or abstract or colorful or subtle. As always, there is no wrong way to approach or interpret the theme. It is a broad topic, so be creative!
This is an old image that I created made of recyled paper towels that I had wiped paint on. I drew the image with black pen and here it is. I used it in my art journal...

How wonderful! It's so much fun to use the leftovers of other art, and paint stained paper towels are so pretty. I love the contrast between the watery colors of the paper and the sharp pen. Very nice:>

"recycled paper towels that I had wiped paint on" - great use of materials at hand!

The face reminds me a bit of the actor Richard Chamberlain...
