Inspiration Thursday is all about pink and orange....so I decided to do mona Lisa. I used 1 2 part stencil, spray paint, charcoal and and Photoshop action to make a polaroid. I loved doing it ...it was fun. Hope yOu all like it. I updated Mona to look like a modern girl (aka Andy Warhol)I also used some crackle on to give it a texture, so not so smooth looking.
She's very cool! I like that crackle effect.
ReplyDeleteagree with janet.. it looks printed like sponge print but more sophisticated than that! good effect!

Lee, I like the concept (never would have thought of pink-orange-Mona-Lisa!)and the way you created the background colours. Thanks for explaining now you did this. Will give it a try. The header-bird is fantastic. Thanks, too, for the header-reminder. I really needed that!
ReplyDeletethis is absolutely superb. do you do atcs? i would love to trade with you.
ReplyDeleteok. confession. I have never, ever, liked the Mona Lisa. (Ack, I'm siting here expecting to be struck by lightning. Really!) However, YOUR Mona? yea, rockin' it. Much more interesting to my eye.
