Happy Fathers day....

Meet Mr. Owl, ok he not a regular looking guy.  I have a thing for kooky guys, don't let tell hubby, after all he thinks he is normal (lol).  Mr. Owl likes to spy  into windows to see whats going on, and low and behold he finds he is at a birdseed factory.  This took me about 5 minutes to do, looks like it, but it was a fun thing to do and colour with sharpies and it will go in my fun projects file.  Then I might take it out again and look at it, and refine Mr. Owl and refine again, and he wont be so kooky anymore.
Tonight we are having friends for a bbq, I made potato salad, we are having ribs on the bbq, Caesar salad, corn on the cob, strawberries and ice cream, and watermelon.  Its hot here today, and it feels like summer is starting....what makes you feel like summer.

  2. Hi Lee, I love the owl, looks like we've both been thinking about owls lately.
You asked what makes us feel like summer. Well, since I was in high school every year at the beginning of summer I would go shopping and buy a few pair of flip flops, a new shade of lipstick and a bunch of paperback books. to me it's not summer till I do that.

  4. Don't "refine" your picture! It's perfect just as it is. I love your style, and your sense of humor shows through.

Summer for me is all the fresh fruits....berries and melons and peaches, plums, and all the rest. And a pair of white sandals!

  5. Well, what makes me feel like summer is the heat wave we are already experiencing. I LOVE your owl looking into the birdseed factory. That is really clever!
