Thanks for all your comments on the smash book, its morphing into an art journal

last night dinner out (still no oven) over to friends

I decided when smash books came out I was not going to get one,

but I did get one for the Shopper, I thought she would like one.

Well she had it about 6 months, and then brought it back

to me, empty.  She didnt want, didnt know what to do with it,

wasnt into.  So now it was back to me, so this I made and

put on the very back page of the smash book.  I dont know what I am

going to do with the book , I might just treat it like an art journal.

I wanted to have a place to store postcards I was working on, or I had finished, or the ones I had received, so I went to Michaels and got a recipe box, painted and stencilled it and  that is where I keep my postcards, that way I can look thru it anytime I want, or when its full I just make another one,

Crap happens in three's

First the oven broke, and we needed a new one

then our new washer started to leak, of course the day after warranty expires

now the printer is not working, 

Dont you know bad things always happen in 3......

No Socks

I have declared spring has come to my city.  I have taken off my socks and they wont be back on again until October.  I have moved the winter clothes, purged and pillaged all the cupboards, washed and dusted until there is not a speck of winter left in this house. And that makes me happy today...

I have never had curly hair, straight as a board.  The shopper has

curly hair got it my hubby.  She hates it, straightens it daily, but

she did get thick hair from me.

Had to buy a new oven yesterday, the glass in my oven

broke, well cooking.  Its cheaper to get a new oven

than get the glass fixed, plus how could I ever

get the glass out of there.  So no oven cookingfor

a couple of weeks, thats how long it takes to

get the new oven, some places took a month?

What the....now that is a good excuse not to cook.

But alas I have a toaster oven, and for the two

of us that is perfect.

Do you have a tool you enjoy?.....

I bet you didn't know I am mathematically challenged. I hate math always have always will

barely got by in School. And of course once you got out of school there was always the

calculator. This is my favourite tool next to my Dyson Vacumn .  Dont you love it, its been well used, and chewed on by devil dog, paint spattered on it. Can you guess why I love it?  Okay long enough put down your hands, because it tells you the 1/4 inches.the 3/4 inch, I never which line is what.  This makes my life so much easier........of course next to my Vacumn (lol)

okay I bet by the title you thought I just might be talking about something else, now that

is a way to get people to read your blog........

bookbinding tools and a phobia

These are the tools that I use for bookbinding.  OK I haven't really used these yet, but I am ready just in case.  What is holding me back, I don't know I wish I did, I watch all the videos, I am sure I could do it, I have the paper all ready to be sewn.  Do you  think i have a bookbinding phobia (lol).

This is a mosaic of the art that was completed in March, or at least some of it.  The good ones that passed my intense scrutiny   I have been busy seen 4 am this morning, when I drove my neighbour to the airport, she is off to Cuba with her daughter.  Now I wish I was off to Cuba, the shopper has been there and said it was really nice.  Then I came home slept for a few more hours, and then got up and took the mother in-law to Costco, (she cant drive and likes to go there).  Then took her home, and then went to Chapters to look for a book, and then came home.  So that's all for today because I am exhausted, and need to rest and watch my favourite old show on TV, the Gilmor Girls, will talk to you all tomorrow.  Have you all noticed it is very quiet in blogland lately, or is it just me?

I kinda followed her technique but went my own way, the first two I like the third one not so much, I made these with the idea of just placing them somewhere and then someone finding them.  There is a group out there that does that, after all a girl can only have so many postcards.
