when it rains it pours

the last few days have been a whirl wind of anxiety and stress

I don't know if I told you but the hubster has not been

feeling to well the last month

Since I doubt he would want me tell the details

I will cut to the chase , Thursday night I had to

call 911 and get an ambulance here pronto,

and I am so glad I did what my heart

told me do.

anyway he's where is should be and getting

the medical attention he needs and

is on the mend and should be home

in a few days mended.

The art of the computer

what's that you say Lee how did you do that

well thanks for asking

you seen the girl above with her |Sisters from a different Mister"

all I did in photoshop elements is cut her out

add her to a background page I made and saved

I had this stamp element and just added it on

and the words

it gives you a whole new look

the only thing I would do different next time

is the words, I would take the time to make them on a strip of paper

and scan them into my computer and then add them to the paper

what do you think?

an Updated life

 

 

It was the hubby's birthday yesterday, and created

this last night, I told him there is a slight

resemblance.

Ok remember yesterday I told you about the Documented life

and how I was going to use a cheap planner.  Well

this morning after a little tiff the hubster's, that man

needs a life outside of this house. I decided a little retail
therapy was needed, and didn't I just go to the bookstore, and loh and behold
what did I spy but a weekly planner (moleskine)

  Before I saw the price tag, I thought ok if its 15.00 I will buy it, but when I saw the

25.00 dollar price tag, I just about choked me.  I mean

its not made of gold.  But the size, and the way

it feels in your hand, and the soft cover.  After the
drooling had stopped, it was still in my hand
and I knew somebody in the universe wanted me to have it. So
it made its way to its new home with me.

  I have already

done the pages with washi tape , and am going

to put on the tabs tonight.  Meanwhile

I have to finish the circle journal, because next

stop for it is Australia, and the way our

mail system works, I could swim with it, there faster.

A documented Life

 

My scanner doesn't scan some colors well,

one of them is the face, in real life it looks fine.

 

tonight I am off to a journal class, at a new scrapbook

store, am looking forward to it, if the page turns

out in my journal I will show it tomorrow.

Curly

Today most of this girl was done with Portfolio crayons

I am trying to get a more gritter look to my art, not

so peaches and cream. What do you think?

 

 

I have never had curly hair, straight as a board.  The shopper has

curly hair got it my hubby.  She hates it, straightens it daily, but

she did get thick hair from me.

Had to buy a new oven yesterday, the glass in my oven

broke, well cooking.  Its cheaper to get a new oven

than get the glass fixed, plus how could I ever

get the glass out of there.  So no oven cookingfor

a couple of weeks, thats how long it takes to

get the new oven, some places took a month?

What the....now that is a good excuse not to cook.

But alas I have a toaster oven, and for the two

of us that is perfect.
