Studio Friday: Comfort

My studio is all about comfort for me. I live in Canada and its cold here, cold today minus with wind chill -31, so when I am in the studio this is what I see from my chair, I have the fireplace roaring, the sterio playing soft guitar music and a cup of tea or hot chocolate beside, and big fluffy warm slippers on and there I find comfort from not only the elements outside but from a stressfilled life of any woman, mother, worker.

  1. Ahhhh....there is something about a roaring fire and hot chocolate to get you in a creative mood. And if creativity is elusive, you can always climb into that comfy couch by the fireplace and watch a good movie! lol...I'm originally from Michigan so I can relate to those cold winter days and nights. Thanks for coming over and taking a peek at my blog! Karin

  2. So great to have a fireplace! It would be great cold winterdays. It can be very cold here in Sweden, because I live up north and a lot of snow too. Even if we haven't got so much yet.

  4. It used to get cold on the eastern plains of Colorado but not so much any more. We still get our days but it's been in the 60's this week!

  5. THAT's what's missing in my house. If only I had a fireplace, I would never ever go outside again. Okay, so people think it doesn't get cold in SoCal, but it's cold to ME! It's getting into the 40s and 30s at night now, and I don't know what I'd do without my flannel sheets and comforter. :-)
