The Road

I just finished this novel called "The Road" last week. I loved this book it is by Cormac McCarthy - he won an Pultzer Prize for it and he should have. If you are looking for a cheery book it is not for you. When you look at my picture it looks dark, dirty and really so is the book. Not dirty dirty, but you can feel the dirt on these characters. I love this book and recommend it to anyone .....who likes dark books. I cried at the end of it. I have been rolling it around in my mind for a week and cant get it out and I felt compelled to draw this picture. It is not pretty and nice and it was not meant to be.
