Having fun working in Carla's book....been making crazy looking animals.
Well today was a fun day. Today after I dropped my mom off to get her treatment. I went over to
she has an art cafe....go to the link and have a look. On Thursday mornings you can go there, with your journal or whatever and use her supplies, and create to your hearts content with other like minded people for a cost of $20.00 which is not bad , you don't have to bring anything. So I decided to give it a try. Now if you talked to my daughter she would tell you, I don't get nervous I will talk to anyone, and keep them talking. But I do get nervous, walking into a place, I don't know anyone, and they all know each other and your kind of the odd man out. It's like starting a new job, or going to a new school. I hate to do stuff like that, but I did it, and they were really nice, and very supportive. So in the end I had a great time, and created a nice piece of work, which you will see tomorrow.
How do you handle meeting a new group of people, who have known each other for ever? Am I the only one who gets nervous and just about does not go?
How neat to have a place to journal with others! I wish I had a place like that where I live. If we did have a place like that, I would be nervous about going. I'm pretty shy until I get to know people.

If I don't know the people yet I can be very silent..but once I'm comfortable...I let my colors show : )
