The Fishbowl

This was done in my everyday book, I saw an ad in the paper, and put my own spin on it.  Don't you feel sometimes you are going round and round  and getting nothing accomplished.  Or am I only the only one who spins her wheels. Hubby got home late last night 1 day early, so now back to reality.
Today I am off to the airport, to pick up friends.

Do you watch Dr. Oz, or is it just us old hypercondriacts (i cant spell even)  old ladies, who have everything he talks about. But the other day he had the Hungry Girl on, I get her email updates.  I love the way she cooks, low fat but tasty, and you don't have to give up everything.  Anyway I am trying to lose a few pounds so I can fit into that string bikini for the summer, you know the one that goes up your butt when you walk.  Anyway I am off today to get two of her cookbooks.  Well we are on the subject on bathing suits, do you believe that any woman is happy with her body that is not 16, or the way she looks in a bathing suit.

  1. Some days I record Dr Oz and then watch it later. Sometimes he has some good info that I can use.

I laughed out loud at your string bikini description! And I'm not sure there are women older than teenagers who actually like everything about their bodies. At my age I don't even want to think about what I'd look like in a swim suit!!

  2. i think there are very few women at any age that are truly happy with their bodies. string bikini huh? of course you will post pictures on your blog.

i truly believe we live in something similar to a snow globe. to think that space is infinite is hard to believe. just my thought.

  3. Ha ha...you're going to be posting a pic of you in the string bikini, right?

I've ALWAYS had body image issues, and now I look back at pictures of myself when I was a teenager and wonder what I was bellyaching about!

I REALLY like your picture on this post, Lee!

  5. Definitely a fish bowl around here! Love your picture today. And am looking forward to your image of the bikini.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving your kind words. My brother and I have been accused of having long memories about our childhoods, which may explain why my memory of current information is so short, near total lack of internal hard drive space.

    Have a gorgeous day!

  6. living the fish bowl life here too although trying to break out of it!

Ive never been happy with me in a bikini or bathers no matter what age I was. I think I would empty the beach or pool if I turned up in one now!! lol!

I found having dd's dogs to stay and taking them for walks every night a great weight loss prog.

  7. Hi Lee, I think everybody can get 'sucked-in' fast into the 'round-and-round' fishbowl routine....I try to sneak in some little things during day, wich I really enjoy....makes the fisbowl less dominating - smiles-
    Have a great weekend,smiles, Anke :)
