Imperfection

I like drawing buildings, not perfect, because truthfully
try as I might I cant get them perfect.  So imperfect it is, this is another
postcard, but a big one, I got out of the garbage by the mailbox.
Yes I am a garbage picker......Well today looms in front of me,
with possibilities to go out and enjoy the last of the fall
weather , so I better get out of these pjs and into some
warm clothes and get myself out of here and get
a hot chocolate and a muffin, the paper at my
favourite coffee shop...what are you doing for yourself today?

  1. I like your buildings, too. You may think they're imperfect but for me they're absolutely perfect....they have style and personality.

It's a little rainy here today so I'm not getting out. Call me wimpy!

  3. I like the way you've drawn this, so much more fun than getting all the proportions accurate (too boring) and yours looks so much more fun :)

  4. Your buildings have character and style...very nice! I'm not getting a whole lot done today except sitting in front of my computer...oh dear!
    Have a good weekend!

  5. I love your stylized buildings! so very cool... I wish I could draw like that!
Today I got stuck in HORRIBLE traffic on my long commute home - so I turned up the radio and sang my head off and had my own little dance party... a great way to make a frustrating situation a fun one!

  6. your buildings are a place I want to live! no art for me today - houseguest staying in the studio and much yard work to be done (cleaning up all the fallen limbs from our freak snow storm last weekend). happy weekend to you!

  7. Great postcard! I love the look of whimsical buildings like that. And I always love musical scores in any piece of art!

  8. Muffins here too....I just made some, and I will have some later....since it's dull and grey outside, enjoyed your new art!
