Bitten off more than I can chew

I think I have bitten off more than I can chew!
I wanted to do the Postcard, the 10minutes sketch each day
and the book of days. Plus some other art, the blog, the house, friends a life.
So I made executive decision,

1.  I will continue with the 10 minute sketches
after all they are only 10 minutes no more and I need the practice as you can
see above

2.  The book of days is manageable for me
and I really want to do that one.

3.  So yep you guessed it, I am not going
to do the postcard one

Better to know that now before getting started.  So what are you doing art wise
this year?

  2. PS. I always compare myself to a chiguagua who is bit off an elephant bone. I'll finish it one day :)

  3. Are they holding hands, ah, hoofs, errr... LOL! So cute. I think you're smart to realize the time constraints. About this year: I hope to do more sketching and sewing and ATC's, postcards, needlework and, and, and.... See, I need to adopt your thinking, very smart you are!

  4. You're a wise woman! I bite off more than I can chew but I just keep chewing until I make myself crazy. I'm doing my art journal, and a couple of free workshops and that's it for now.

  8. I love these drawings, Lee! I'm glad you are sticking with the daily drawing...I should REALLY be doing that myself. Maybe I'll get on board, but I'm not ready to commit yet. I'm going to continue with my art journal and my other little projects...I am going to do a version of the Book of Days, but it might now be as comprehensive as the way some people are doing it. As long as I'm giving some time to creativity each day, I feel satisfied!

  10. Hi Lee,

Thanks for looking at my blog and commenting, I want to drop you a quick email to reassure you that you will soon catch up and there is no hurry. You have done the hard part now the fun stuff begins .

If you are feeling pressed for time you might like to save doing your outside cover till later or leave it as it is :) and just start on the inside. Try not to worry about being behind though as we are at the very beginning of this journey and its your BoD, you don't need to keep up with anyone else.

I will look forward to seeing your posts in the group~

    Blessings
    Louise
